This is a 12 month membership to both the South Australian Jet Ski Club & the Australian Jet Sports Boating Association

 

MEMBERSHIP & LICENSING INFORMATION:

This membership entitles you to participate in Recreational/Social events located in South Australia ONLY- Not for competition use

 

      • To participate in any AJSBA/SAJSC sanctioned Recreational/Social club event  riders MUST have this membership.
      • The AJSBA/SAJSC retains the right to reclassify, decline or review a license/membership at any time.
      • All Race committee organizers and Event committee volunteers must be named on return for insurance purposes; All Event Marshals must comply with the course Marshal Guidelines.
      • All participants must sign a liability waiver and wear event wrist bands.
      • The AJSBA/SAJSC recommend that all riders have ambulance cover and PWC Insurance.
      • The AJSBA have a Drug and Alcohol Policy which the SAJSC Enforces. By attending you agree to participate in testing if required at any time.
      • Mandatory Safety Apparel 
      • Life Jacket level 50s (within 2NM from shore) level 50 (outside of 2NM from shore)
      • Floating torch (outside of 2NM) 
      • Additional equipment (per permit conditions) advised by SAJSC  

 

By signing this you are agreeing to the;  AJSBA Code Of Conduct, AJSBA Infringement System and SAJSC Constitution 

I hereby apply to be a member of the South Australian Jet Ski Club Inc (SAJSC). I agree to abide by the rules of the SAJSC
as set out in the Constitution (copy available on request) and release the Club and all persons connected from all
liabilities for any damage or injury that may occur to either property or persons.
All Jet Skis participating in SAJSC events must have insurance which includes 3rd party damage and injuries.

 

DECLARATION AND INDEMNITY

    1. I, the undersigned, in consideration or as a condition of acceptance of my entry in each event I participate in for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, hereby waive all and any claim rights or course of action which I or they might otherwise have for or rising out of the loss of my life or injury, damage or loss of any description whatsoever which I may suffer in the course of or consequent entry of participation in the said event.
    2. This waiver release and discharge shall be and operate separately in favour of all persons, corporations and bodies involved or otherwise engaged in promoting or staging the said event and the servants, agents, representatives and officers or any of them and includes but is not limited to the committee of the Australian Jet Sports Boating Association affiliate host club (the organisers of the event) medical and paramedical practitioners and personal police officers, shire councils and shall operate whether or not the loss, injury or damage is attributed to the act or neglect of one or more of them.
    3. I hereby indemnify the committee, the affiliate host club and its members and the Australian Jet Sports Boating Association against all suits, claims and demands whatsoever arising out of my participation in the said event.
    4. I declare that I will abide by the event rules and will accept the organiser’s decision as final. I acknowledge that this declaration and indemnity applies to the participation of the above named in the said event.
    5. I agree to uphold the rules outlined in the I.J.S.B.A rulebook and by the Race Director.

I hereby declare that I have read and understood and will abide by the AJSBA Code of Conduct –  Annexure 1 and I have received, read and understood the AJSBA liability cover – Annexure 2, and I have read and understood the SAJSC Constitution - Annexure 3.
